Who is a Prospect?

Prospective student-athletes are encouraged to reach out directly to sport offices with the understanding that coaches do not have the ability to initiate or return telephone calls until a recruit is of the permissible contact age. A directory of our Athletics Department staff may be found on und.com.

Every prospective student-athlete hoping to participate in college athletics must register in the NCAA Eligibility Center. The NCAA reviews two key areas when deciding on your status as a qualifier for athletics participation; Academics and Amateurism. Click above to learn specific standards required for each and register early in the Eligibility Center completing all assigned tasks. It will be your responsibility to coordinate the sending of your high school transcripts and standardized test scores to the NCAA. A prospect must be registered in the Eligibility Center prior to making any official recruiting visits.
